- NotesDamaged engraving of Middleton (sic) follows a description in Stow's 'Survey of the Cities of London and Westminster' of the 1613 ceremony when water first flowed into the Round Pond, and a full caption is included. This is stuck to mount and was 'presented to the Vestry Clerk (Mr William F.Dewey) by Mr H.B. Harding 16th May 1898'. Another copy at 510326.
