Abstract
Colebrooke Cottage, now 64 Duncan Terrace, where Charles Lamb lived with his sister Mary 'after leaving India House....in 1823 and spent several happy years' with the New River running past it. Lamb described his home as "a white house with six good rooms, the New River runs close to the foot of the house".
