Liverpool Road frontage of the Agricultural Hall, known locally as the Aggie. Built in 1861, the building hosted many shows over the years, was a parcels office during World War II until 1971 when it was abandonned. In 1983 designs were put forward for the Building Design Centre which opened in 1986.
