Abstract
Annotated drawing (from which engravings were then made) of busy junction with local horse-drawn buses and one bound for Brighton?
Elizabeth and John Wilson established a horse omnibus service on Holloway Road in 1830 to carry city workers from the suburbs of North London. Known as Wilson's Favorites (in imitation of the Paris buses), they expanded to 48 buses in larger stables at Laycock's Farm before selling in 1856.
