Newspaper article (1st of 2 parts) from The Times of 20.1.1885 reporting a meeting held at the Vestry Hall on redistributing Islington's Parliamentary seats to create 4 equally populated constituencies. W.F.Dewey, clerk to Islington Vestry proposed the plan to G.Pemberton Leach from the Boundary Commission, in the presence of vestrymen and representatives from Finsbury Conservative & Liberal Associations.
