Badge : Textile, Civil Defence Corps

Textile badge in navy blue flannel,embroidered in yellow,red and green.It has a circle with a crown at the top and a lion in the middle.Within the circle is written Civil Defence Corps.The badge has small holes in the back,with thread remaining suggesting that it has been used. Probably 1950s.
