Torpedo-shaped glass bottle, inscribed, 'J and C Webb Manufacturer/ Double Soda Water/ to Her Majesty/ Islington/ London'. Webb's Soda Works (1818 – 1915) was based at Islington Green. The product was made by dissolving soda water spring water in Islington and then saturating it with carbonic acid gas to create a fizzy drink.
