Plastic bag from the Jones Brothers department store on Holloway Road, part of John Lewis Partnership. The store closed down in 1990 so this item predates this year, although exact date is unknown. The store was opened in 1867 as a drapers shop by William and John Jones and gradually grew in size to become a large department store. Jones Brothers bacame part of the John Lewis Partnership in 1940. It has the number 03-5 printed on the top left hand side of the bag.
