This bag would have been used for the wardens (First Aid?) equipment.
The bag is off white with metal buckles on the straps. A.R.P. has been printed on the front with a red cross. The button at the front is missing, however there is a plastic cream button at the back- presumably for fastening the cover flap at the back to keep it open?. Inside, a piece of cotton divides the bag into two pockets.
