A Guerlain soap box with 'Savon au blanc de baleine' written on the front. A telescoping box with a pink gardenia sticker on one of the short sides (presumably referring to the soaps perfume). On the base of the box is a sticker in blue,red and white with Registered Trade Mark GUERLAIN Ltd. LONDON written on it.On the base a name has been crossed out in pencil. On the front of the box Mr Wilson has been written in pencil and underlined(the donors maiden name-probably referring to her father who purchased the clippers). The box contained hair clippers which the donors father had bought around the 1950's off a retiring hairdresser. Please see records 2005.61.
