The lift-off lid features a graphic of a whale in between two golden stars in the centre, and two rows of French wording 'SAVON AU BLANC DE BALEINE', literally meaning ‘whale oil soap’ and the product name ‘SAPOCETI GUERLAIN’. On the box base, a registered trademark sticker of GUERLAIN Ltd. LONDON.
