A letter sent from the Food (Defence Plans) Department, Board of Trade, September 1938 concerns the baking and distribution of bread. Presumably this plan would be put into effect during a war. It asks for the bakery owner who was also a volunteer as a controller of supplies and emergency feeding for North London.
