Document carrying bag/clipboard. Was used by the civil defence in World War 2. It has a kahki cotton canvas outer cover,which can be fastened by poppers. On the inside are pouchs, which may have been used for pens,pencils etc.It has a large pocket inside with a plastic window-inserted into this is a deep brown board. At the bottom of the pocket underneath the poppers Finnigans LD 1944 has been stamped on the canvas.
