    Two sides of A4 folded sheet, black and pink on white. Leaflet produced as part of the Greater London Council's campaign against the Conservative Government's plans to abolish the GLC, ILEA (Inner London Education Authority) and other metropolitan second-tier authorities across the UK, and specifically aimed at lesbians and gay men. Makes reference to projects funded by the GLC, including: the Lesbian and Gay Employment Campaign (later known as Lager), Gay Switchboard, London Friend, Lesbian Line, the Gay London Monitoring Project (Galop), Consenting Adults theatre group, Gay Men's Press, Brilliance Books, September in the Pink arts festival, the Gay Teenage Research Project (London Gay Teenage Group), 'a gay housing project' (Stonewall Housing), Gay Youth Video Project, Gay Bereavement Project, Hall-Carpenter Archives, and the London Lesbian and Gay Centre in Clerkenwell. It also refers to the GLC Gay Working Party, the Lesbian Sub-Group of the GLC Women's Committee and the ILEA Gay Working Party. "Gay people have nothing to gain by abolition of the GLC, and a lot to lose."
